Respect the Floor You Walk On: A Message to Visiting Instructors

410 Line Dancers Class

At 410 Line Dancers, we believe in community, collaboration, and culture—but above all, we believe in respect. That’s why we feel it’s essential to address a growing issue straightforwardly:

If you come to our class, you come as a student, not an instructor.

We’ve worked hard to build our audience, our environment, and our community from the ground up. That didn’t happen overnight, and it didn’t happen without intention. So when someone walks into our class and attempts to take control, redirect the energy, or solicit students for their own class, it’s not just disrespectful—it’s out of line.

Let us be clear:

🔒 410 Line Dancers has a strict No Solicitation policy.

💬 You may not promote your classes, events, or platforms to our students.

🧑🏽‍🏫 If you want to teach, you must let us know in advance—and receive our explicit approval.

We welcome all visitors

We welcome visitors. We enjoy sharing space with people who love this art form as much as we do. But sharing space doesn’t mean sharing control. Dropping into someone else’s class and trying to teach without permission is the fastest way to get the wrong kind of attention.

Respect the space. Respect the leaders. Respect the work that’s already been done.

Because if you can’t come in as a student, you won’t be staying as a guest.

At 410 Line Dancers, we value structure, professionalism, and mutual growth. If you come with those values, we’re glad to have you. If not, we’ll make sure the message is clear:

You cannot teach here.
