For the first time, 410 Line Dancers applied for the Google for Startups Black Founders Fund competition. Eligible startups should have a technology-based product or service in the early stage or growth phase and demonstrate the potential to scale. Applicants must have a Black founder who plays an active leadership role in the company.
“We are excited that we are trying to enter competitions that make us visible in the entrepreneur community. We want to be seen as not only soul line dancers, but also as a force in the world of entrepreneurship. Ever since Google announced their program for helping small businesses grow, we have targeted including our application into the process. We can only hope our information is interesting enough to get the win,” says Isha “Boomerang” Hutchinon
